The rumours are true… The Gatwick Express will not be running across the Easter weekend (25th-28th March). Many other forms of transport will also be reducing their services over the weekend.
Details On The Weekend
From the 25th of March, running through to the 28th of March, there will be no Gatwick express service active due to major rail improvement work. I know what you’re all thinking, will this be ruining my Easter Weekend away with the family? How am I going to get to Gatwick for my early business flight? Luckily for you, Licensed London Taxi are here, working all days, even across The Easter Weekend!
If you are a reader of our superb blogs (if we do say so ourselves!), you may remember that The Gatwick Express also stopped running over the Christmas period as well. They really do know when to pick times for maintenance… This proved a lot of problems for people travelling to and from Gatwick across this period, especially for wheelchair users, who found themselves attempting to board busy bus & alternative trains. So if you are travelling via Gatwick this Easter break, or know anyone that is, be sure to get in contact with us!
