The famous West End theatres have seen some of the biggest names on their posters and displays, and currently, they are looking as good as ever! Here are a few of the top shows we recommend, and a little bit about each of them:
Wicked is the winner of 90 international awards, and has cast it’s magical spell over audiences of all ages across the world for a decade and continues to be a record-breaking hit at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, where, as of 2013, it has become the 16th longest-running West End musical of all time. Dubbed as one of the greatest shows of all time, this really is a must see!
First came the book, then the hit movie starring Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe, and now, The Woman in Black is available to see once again on The West End theatre stages! ‘A real spine-chillers’, says the Daily Telegraph. The show will now be celebrating it’s 25th terrifying year on stage, and this ghost story is definitely one you want to see.
Disney’s award winning musical is still holding strong in The West End. A wonderful visual show, presents rhythms of Africa through bright colours, and spectacular sounds. The show portrays the story of young Simba as he turns from a young lion cub, to a king. A must see show!
